A historic villa renewed with quiet elegance, natural materials and a deep respect for its setting
Our clients entrusted Arts at Home with the overall interior project, allowing us to develop one coherent vision for the property as a whole. The aim was to preserve the character and charm of the villa while introducing a refined, contemporary way of living.
The interior concept balances classical architectural details with natural materials, soft colours and carefully crafted bespoke elements. Original features such as decorative ceilings, timber beams, arched openings and traditional proportions were enhanced with a calm palette of warm woods, natural stone, textured fabrics and elegant lighting.
Each room was designed with its own atmosphere, while remaining part of a larger story. The kitchen combines modern functionality with a sense of permanence. The bathrooms were transformed into serene private retreats, where stone, glass, muted green tones and freestanding elements create a quiet spa-like mood. Living and dining spaces feel generous and welcoming, shaped by layers of texture, art, furniture and warm light.
Outside, the gardens were considered as an essential part of the home. Terraces, planting, pathways and quiet seating areas extend the living experience into the landscape and connect the villa naturally to its lakeside surroundings.
