A few years after entrusting our studio with the renovation of their home in Barcelona, this family returned to Arts at Home with a new chapter: the careful transformation of a former staff house overlooking Lake Zürich.
The house has been renovated for a family of five, with great attention to proportion, atmosphere and everyday comfort. Original character was preserved wherever possible, while the interiors were reimagined with a soft, timeless language: natural wood, muted tones, textured surfaces, linen, marble, aged brass and carefully chosen details.
Each room was designed to feel calm, lived-in and personal. From the warm kitchen and intimate bathrooms to the serene bedrooms and layered living spaces, the renovation balances practicality with quiet elegance.
As part of the transformation, a rooftop terrace was added, opening the house towards the lake and creating a new place for the family to gather, relax and enjoy the changing light over Zürich. A home renewed with care, trust and continuity.
