Interior renovation of a farmhouse.

The interior renovation of this farmhouse nestled on the border of the Alpilles has been carried out respecting the original construction elements that identify and characterize the space, such as the vaulted ceiling and brick walls, integrating them into the new interior design project.

Originally, the building housed three deteriorated apartments that have been transformed into a house for a couple with four children and two independent studios for rent.

The distribution of the house has been adapted to the needs of the family, maintaining at all times, the desire to create large and open spaces.

The use of materials has played a very important role in the project. Some of the walls have been sandblasted, leaving the existing brick exposed and others have been painted with lime paint, dyed with natural dyes. The ceilings, some vaulted and others with wooden beams, have been restored and painted, but leaving the original structure visible such as the impressive staircase.
